About Tesamorelin
Tesamorelin (TH9507) is a synthetic analog of the full-length 44-amino acid human growth hormone-releasing hormone (hGRH/GHRH(1-44)-NH₂), with a trans-3-hexenoic acid moiety conjugated to the N-terminal tyrosine. Unlike the shorter sermorelin (GHRH 1-29) or modified GRF(1-29), tesamorelin retains the complete 44-residue GHRH backbone, preserving the full C-terminal amphipathic helix that contributes to high-affinity receptor binding at the pituitary GHRH receptor. The N-terminal fatty acid modification confers enzymatic stability against DPP-IV cleavage.
