About LIPO-C (No B12)

LIPO-C (without B12) is a lipotropic research compound formulation containing L-carnitine and the MIC combination: L-methionine, inositol, and choline. L-Carnitine (CAS 541-15-1) is a quaternary ammonium compound that transports long-chain fatty acids across the inner mitochondrial membrane as acylcarnitine conjugates, enabling beta-oxidation. Methionine provides methyl groups through the SAM (S-adenosylmethionine) cycle, inositol participates in phosphoinositide signaling pathway research, and choline serves as a precursor to phosphatidylcholine and the neurotransmitter acetylcholine.

Research applications for this formulation include its use in mitochondrial fatty acid oxidation pathway characterization, studies of lipid droplet dynamics in hepatocyte and adipocyte cell culture models, one-carbon metabolism and methylation reaction investigations, and as a tool compound in lipotropic agent mechanism research. The multi-component nature of this formulation supports simultaneous investigation of complementary lipid metabolism pathways. Intended for in vitro and preclinical research by qualified investigators only.

Lyophilized Research Peptides

This product is supplied in lyophilized (freeze-dried) form — a process that extends shelf life and preserves peptide purity and structural integrity during storage. No fillers, excipients, or preservatives are used in the lyophilization process. The lyophilized powder should be reconstituted with an appropriate research-grade solvent in a controlled laboratory environment prior to use in in vitro or preclinical assay systems.
